It’s time to take you into the ocean with one of the fastest fish in the sea to witness one of the rawest displays of wildlife that nature has to offer. This expedition will be a 5 night stay on the magnificent Magdalena Island. Each morning you will head out with our team to see the extreme hunting skills of the striped marlins, the playfulness of sea lions, and get up close and personal with many other pelagic species in the area including the mobula ray migration, dolphins, and more! The experience includes private chefs who will take care of all your dietary needs with healthy options.

    Guests will fly into and out of San Jose Del Cabo (SJD) International Airport
    No, as this tour is a snorkel/freedive only tour, there is no certification necessary. Everyone is welcome to join and explore the ocean with us one breath at a time. If you are comfortable swimming in the ocean with a mask, snorkel, and fins, you’re good to go.
    You don’t need to be an expert, but you should feel comfortable swimming in open ocean conditions without touching the bottom. We provide flotation devices if needed, and our guides are always close by for support.
    Wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed – this is the open ocean, not an aquarium. However, Cabo San Lucas is one of the best places in the world for pelagic encounters. These vary depending on the season and ocean conditions. Common sightings include Whales, dolphins, sea lions, turtles and tropical fish. With some luck, you may also encounter sharks or other cetaceans. Every day is different – that’s the beauty of the open ocean!
    Yes, usually from age 12 and up, as long as they are comfortable swimming in the ocean. Please check with us if you’d like to bring younger children.
    Yes! Our guides and photographers often document the safari. Photos may be available for purchase so you can relive your adventure without worrying about bringing a camera.
    The open ocean can be bumpy. If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking motion sickness medication before the tour and avoiding heavy food right before departure.

    The weather is cool in the morning, and it can rain occasionally. Guests should be prepared to stay out on the boat for long days. Winter jackets and beanies are recommended for the morning.
