ABOUT THE LIVEABOARD
The 42m long Aurora is a Pinisi Vessel, built in Sulawesi, that offers all the advantages of a modern boat combined with the charm of a traditional one. There are 9 double or twin cabins on board, all with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and daily housekeeping services, accommodating up to 18 guests. The onboard expert chefs prepare local and international dishes for every taste. Special menus are available, such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. The Aurora sails all year to the most breathtaking areas of the Indonesian archipelago, where crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes are waiting to be discovered.

9 Nights
Day 1: Sorong
- Our staff will welcome you at the airport and you will start your experience in Aurora. From Jakarta or Makassar, flights usually arrive early in the morning. As soon as all the guests are on board, we will lift the anchor and start our trip to the island of Waigeo.
Days 2 to 3: Dampier Strait
- Around the strait, we will dive into some famous sites, such as "Mioskon," "Blue Magic", "Sardines" and other amazing places. Prone to currents, this area is characterized by untouched corals and all kinds of schools of fish. On the surface, green islands and marvelous white sand beaches will surround us.
Day 4: Penemu
- "Melissa's Garden" will be one of the beautiful reefs We will visit today. Wobbegong sharks are one of the highlights here. Sea snakes, pygmy seahorses, and huge tridacna clams can be seen also in the shallow waters. We will have the opportunity to step out of the boat for a walk to see one of the most iconic views in Raja Ampat, It is selfie time!
Day 5: Farondi
- Wake up in the Misool National Park, an area with thousands of islands. Here you will be able to see a wide variety of fish, soft and hard corals, and all kinds of macro, wobbegong, and bamboo sharks. Misool is also one of the rare places, where the landscape is absolutely wonderful. Do not miss the show of the mobulas feeding on schools of silversides!
Days 6 to 8: Misool National Park
- So many Islands to visit and so many different dive spots. We will cruise around JILLIET, FIABACET, WALIB, WAJIL, JEF PELE, and BOO among others, where Aurora Crew will assure you as many dives as possible to completely appreciate this wonderful and beautiful area.
Day 9: Daram
- This group of Islands just on the border of Misool Marine Park is the perfect spot to make 2-morning dives and say goodbye for this time to Raja Ampat .... Sure you will be back
Day 10: Sorong
- After a nice breakfast on board, our Aurora crew will organize your transfer to the airport of Sorong, according to your flight schedules. Unfortunately, our trip will arrive at an end and we have to say goodbye but we hope to see you again on board.
Day 1-2: Kaimana
- The Aurora team will welcome you at the airport and bring you to Aurora for immediate boarding. Depending on the arrival time, we might do the check dive around Kaimananig and maybe even a night dive.
Days 3-5: Triton bay
- We offer 2-3 dives daily, including a night dive if possible.
Day 6: Pulau Pisang
- We offer 2-3 dives daily, including a night dive if possible.
Days 7 to 8: Misool, Raja Ampat
- We offer 2-3 dives daily, including a night dive if possible.
Day 9: Penemu
- We offer 2-3 dives daily, including a night dive if possible.
Days 10 to 11: Dampier Strait
- We offer 2-3 dives daily, including a night dive if possible.
Day 12: Sorong
Check out. Sorong crew will transfer the Guests to the Airport.
- Marine Life: hammerhead sharks, fishes, barracudas, soft corals, leather corals, big eye trevallies, turtles, and sea snakes.
The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.
