ABOUT THE LIVEABOARD
The Argo liveaboard was completely refitted in 2008 to offer guests a luxury dive experience in Cocos Island of Costa Rica. Nine guest cabins cater for 18 guests on board. Cabins feature individually controlled AC, a luxury private en-suite bathroom with granite worktops, flatscreen TV & entertainment system, shelves, drawers and hanging hooks, a desk and chair. Each cabin is carpeted throughout and has its own theme with hand painted artwork by Carlos Hiller. The salon is located on the main deck and a variety of nightly entertainment available, including slide shows, DVDs and games. Gourmet chef-prepared meals of a combination of American and local Costa Rican cuisine are served in the main deck dining room. On the upper deck is a study where you can view and edit your video and digital photography and the sun deck has comfortable loungers, al fresco dining area and BBQ. Cocos Island diving gives divers an unforgettable experience. Only accessible via liveaboard, the dive sites of Cocos Island are pristine and uncrowded. Divers will encounter white tip reef sharks, schooling hammerheads, dolphins, mantas and marbled rays, giant moray eels, sailfish, and the occasional whale shark. Call us or book online today to reserve your space aboard the Argo for world-class diving in the Cocos Island.

Discover Every Day of Your Journey
10 Nights
Day 1
- Once all guests have arrived in Puntarenas and boarded the vessel, we will set sail for the 32-36 hour cruise out to Cocos Island.
Day 2
- This day will be spent at sea. Guests can use this time to organise dive and camera gear, and to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Watch videos or chat with our crew to get even more geared up for diving. You can also use this time to take the nitrox certification.
Day 3-8
- These days are spent diving the incredible sites all around Cocos Island. Divers usually average 3 dives per day at depths of about 18-30 metres.
Day 9
- Make the last 3 dives before the crossing back to Puntarenas.
Day 10
- This is another day spent at sea. Use this time to compare adventures with new friends, and enjoy sharing everyone’s photos and videos!
