ABOUT THE LIVEABOARD

The Carpe Diem is a 35-meter-long motor safari yacht that can accommodate up to 20 passengers. It offers various itineraries, including diving and surfing cruises, allowing guests to explore the stunning underwater world of the Maldives. The yacht is equipped with modern amenities, spacious cabins, a restaurant, a bar, a sundeck, and a dive deck to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Carpe Diem provides a dive dhoni (boat) that is fully equipped with an extensive array of top-notch dive equipment, including a Nitrox compressor. Our team takes great care in maintaining our gear to ensure optimal reliability and performance. With our onboard air systems, you can count on a constant supply of clean and compressed air for all your dives.

Itinerary

7 Nights

Day 1

Day 2-6

Up to 3 dives each day

The route includes North Male, Rasdhoo, North Ari, South Ari, Vaavu, and South Male

Day 7

Up to 2 dives considering the 24-hour rule for guests flying afterward.
Later, the vessel will return to Male port.

Day 8

Depart the vessel after breakfast at 08.00.
Unfortunately our trip has come to an end and we have to say goodbye, but we hope to see you again soon!

9 Nights

Day 1: Male

Day 2-8

We offer 3-4 dives daily, including a night dive if possible.

Day 9

Final day of diving with 1-2 scheduled dives – sailing towards the harbor.

Day 10

Check out by 8:00 am.

The last dive will be on the penultimate day of the trip. Divers are recommended to wait for 24 hours before flying after the last dive.

Equipment: Nitrox and normal air tanks (11.5 and 13.5 Aluminium DIN / INT), one SMB per diving couple/buddy team, reef hooks, weights and belts*

Cabins

The Lower Deck Standard Cabins, SOUL, SCUBA, SURF, SMILE, SNORKEL, and SALT are located on the cabin deck below the main deck. 4 of these standard cabins are very spacious having 2 single beds which can be converted to doubles. The 2 other standard cabins each have one single bed and one semi bunk bed.

Opposite the suite on the upper deck is another big cabin, the STAR cabin, with a queen-size double bed, flat-screen TV, and 3 windows overlooking Maldives blue waters.

The very spacious suite, our SUN cabin, with over 20 m2 in size is located on the upper deck. The suite has a king-size bed, a wide flat-screen TV, and an ample closet plus storage space. The 5 windows give a beautiful view of the sea.
