ABOUT THE LIVEABOARD
The sleek and stylish Cat Ppalu catamaran is perfect for groups, families, and friends to explore the Bahamas above and below the water. Accommodating up to 12 guests, the Cat Ppalu liveaboard has 6 private cabins, 4 double beds, and 2 cabins with single beds. Each cabin is fully air-conditioned with a sink and mirror, and two bathrooms with freshwater showers are for all to share. There is a large dining area with ample space for all guests to sit around family-style to enjoy the cuisine and conversation. Three meals per day and snacks will be served, and special dietary requirements can be taken care of with advance notice. The large trampoline at the forward area is great for catching some rays and enjoying the magnificent Bahamian scenery.
The low draft of the Cat Ppalu allows easy anchorage at uninhabited islands for the chance of exploration and enjoying the many watersports on offer. Departing Nassau every Saturday, the Cat Ppalu offers a 6-night all-inclusive adventure to the Exuma Cays, with up to 19 dives on offer. Walls, Blue Holes, drift diving, and up-close shark action are on the agenda, and there are plenty of non-diving activities. Whether snorkeling the crystal clear waters of Norman’s Plane Wreck, kayaking through mangroves, mastering your SUP skills, or following the hiking trails, there is something for everyone aboard the Cat Ppalu Bahamas.
In the capable hands of the captain and crew, guests can sit back, relax, and unwind in the Bahamas. Book online today.

Day 1
- Boarding 12 pm
Day 2-5
3-4 dives per day
The 4th dive of the day is a night dive
We’ll be diving up and down the Exuma Sound, an abyss that drops over 4,000 feet to the ocean floor! While the Northern Exuma Cays are only 30 miles from Nassau, land-based dive operators are too far away to dive this area. The Exuma Cays are known for their wonderful reef dives due to the protection they receive from the Land & Sea Park sanctions so you can experience truly virgin diving. Because of these laws, there are miles of undersea gardens in which coral, sponges, and fish abound. Turtles, rays, and sharks are seen regularly on most dive sites. Goliath grouper truly are gargantuan in the Exumas! Sometimes we dive Eleuthera but that is also weather dependent. Our specific itinerary varies with the winds to obtain maximum visibility for diving. The depths normally range from 20′ to 120′. There are swift drifts between the cays as well as a blue hole that divers will love!
