ABOUT THE LIVEABOARD

The 45m steel-hulled Blue Manta Liveaboard Indonesia was custom-built with divers’ needs in mind. Designed to withstand all sea conditions, the Blue Manta Liveaboard will deliver a comfortable Indonesian dive liveaboard trip.

The Blue Manta Liveaboard has 14 beautifully furnished cabins. Each cabin measures a spacious 20sqm and has en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air-conditioning. With 3 chefs aboard the Blue Manta Liveaboard serving no less than 5 meals per day, meal times are taken seriously, with the day starting with freshly baked bread. The Blue Manta is an underwater photographer’s dream with individual camera rinse tanks, an indoor camera room, blow-dry stations, and small dive groups (4:1) so photographers can take their time and capture the beauty of the underwater world in these amazing dive sites of Indonesia.

    Discover Every Day of Your Journey

    7 Nights

    • Our staff will meet you at Pattimura Airport, Ambon or local hotel and transfer you to the awaiting Blue Manta. Arrivals before midday are best so we can make a check dive or two in Ambon Bay before we get underway for an overnight sail.
    • Diving around Banda Islands with excellent visibility, fantastic coral coverage, and tremendous numbers of fish along with potential hammerhead sightings, plus a visit to one of the Spice Islands.
    • Diving around volcanic islands and stunning seamounts in search of hammerheads. Encounter many sea snakes, huge schools of fish, reef sharks, tunas, and other pelagic superstars.
    • Sail back to Ambon where you will spend last night on board. Plenty of time to wash and dry equipment.
    • Check out after light breakfast and transfer to a local hotel or airport. Take your pre-booked flight to Ujung Pandang (aka Makassar), Jakarta or Singapore.

    10 Nights

    • Our staff will meet you upon your arrival into Pattimura Airport, Ambon or local hotel and transfer you to the awaiting Blue Manta. Arrivals before midday are best so we can make a check dive(s) in Ambon Bay before we get underway by 2 pm for an overnight sail.
    • Diving around Banda Islands with excellent visibility, fantastic coral coverage, and tremendous numbers of fish along with potential Hammerhead sightings, plus a visit to one of the Spice Islands.
    • Diving around volcanic islands and stunning seamounts in search of hammerheads. Encounter many sea snakes, huge schools of fish, reef sharks, tunas, and other pelagic superstars.
    • Enjoy a full day of diving around Pulau Koon, West Seram. Wide angle diving with vibrant corals and a profusion of fish life. Sail to Misool.
    • Explore Misool, south Raja Ampat, including famous areas such as Wayil, Fiabacet, and Boo.
    • After morning dives, we will sail back to Usahamina Pier, Sorong where you will spend last night on board. Plenty of time to wash and dry equipment, have lunch, and relax.
    • Check out after light breakfast and transfer to a local hotel or airport. Departure from Sorong to Manado/ Makassar/ Jakarta/ Denpasar.
