ABOUT THE LIVEABOARD

The Junk is a historic liveaboard that offers a unique experience and combines the charm of a traditional wooden ship with modern comforts while taking divers on adventures around the Similan and Surin Islands. The Junk accommodates 18 divers in 6 fully air-conditioned cabins, each with en-suite bathrooms and hot showers. Choose from private, three-berth, or four-berth cabins to suit your preferences. The boat has a shaded dive deck, personal set-up areas, and the option for Nitrox diving.

This 33-meter authentic wooden sailing vessel has its claim to fame: It has been used in several films, including James Bond’s “The Man With The Golden Gun” and “Swiss Family Robinson.”

Enjoy buffet-style meals with fresh local ingredients and warm Thai hospitality. When not diving, unwind in the air-conditioned salon, watch a movie, or explore nearby islands on a kayak.     Know More about the days

    4 Nights

    • Embarkation at 19:00 followed by briefings and dinner.
    • Your cruise director will schedule up to 4 dives per day; 3 dives and a sunset or night dive.
    • A typical diving day is scheduled as follows:
    • - Light breakfast, followed by briefing & Dive1
    • - Full breakfast, relaxation, followed by briefing & Dive 2
    • - Lunch, relaxation, followed by briefing & Dive 3
    • - Snack
    • - Briefing for Dive 4
    • - Dinner
    • After dive 2, the vessel commences the cruise to port. Disembarkation is scheduled between 12:00-14:00.
    • Sample itineraries are for guidance only. Actual itineraries may differ slightly due to factors such as weather, wildlife, logistics and local regulations.
    • Diving environments

    6 Nights

    • Embarkation at 19:00 followed by briefings and dinner.
    • Your cruise director will schedule up to 4 dives per day; 3 dives and a sunset or night dive.
    • A typical diving day is scheduled as follows:
    • - Light breakfast, followed by briefing & Dive1
    • - Full breakfast, relaxation, followed by briefing & Dive 2
    • - Lunch, relaxation, followed by briefing & Dive 3
    • - Snack
    • - Briefing for Dive 4
    • - Dinner
    • Usually 2 morning dives and possibly one dive after lunch before the vessel commences the cruise back to port.
    • Following breakfast, disembarkation is scheduled between 09:00-10:00.
    • Sample itineraries are for guidance only. Actual itineraries may differ slightly due to factors such as weather, wildlife, logistics and local regulations.
