Highlights:
Launched in 2020, Dune Silky—previously known as Alia—features some of the most sophisticated and up-to-date interiors among vessels operating in the Red Sea. Guests are welcomed into a refined environment designed for comfort and relaxation, offering amenities that evoke the familiarity of home. Underwater, a highly skilled crew supports up to four dives daily across Egypt’s central and southern Red Sea, ensuring ample opportunities for both exploration and leisure. Divers can expect to encounter vibrant coral gardens, historic shipwrecks, and dramatic drop-offs, all teeming with a diverse array of marine life. Onboard, guests benefit from exceptional hospitality, gourmet cuisine, a selection of beverages, wireless internet access, and an entertainment system.
The Silky liveaboard is a contemporary 44-meter (144-foot) steel yacht, purpose-built in 2020 to provide divers with a spacious and comfortable platform for discovering Egypt’s renowned Red Sea dive sites. The vessel accommodates up to 26 guests in 13 air-conditioned twin cabins, each equipped with a private bathroom. The lower deck houses a generous indoor dining area where freshly prepared meals are served throughout the day. The upper deck offers a stylish indoor lounge with a television, seamlessly connected to a shaded outdoor bar area. A large, partially shaded sun deck provides an ideal space for sunbathing and dive briefings, while the aft section of the main deck features a well-appointed dive deck for equipment storage and preparation.
As a member of the Dune Red Sea fleet, Silky benefits from extensive operational experience in the region. Its itineraries include visits to some of Egypt’s most celebrated dive destinations, such as St. John’s, Ras Mohammed, Brothers, Rocky, Zabargad, Fury Shoals, Daedalus, and Elphinstone. The Red Sea’s exceptional biodiversity and world-class dive sites make it a premier location for divers of all experience levels
